Vision
The WINE Forum envisions the creation of women-centered networks to drive women’s leadership and success in Neural Engineering.
Mission
Our mission is to provide vital peer-to-peer mentorship and networking opportunities for women in Neural Engineering. Our goal is to encourage women to enter and stay in Neural Engineering, and to advocate for women to hold leadership positions within the field.
History
WINE was started in 2017 by a small group of women who understood that opportunities for women in neural engineering needed to be created, nurtured and encouraged by women. While there are many highly successful women in Neural Engineering, opportunities for women are few and far between and their representations in leadership positions is not representative of the women in the field. Research is clear that women-centered networks drive women’s leadership and success and the vision of WINE is to support this for Women in Neural Engineering.

2. You must ASK for what you want - no one else will know or understand your needs or priorities if you don't clarify them.
3. If you don't think you are getting what you deserve or want, you must have a frank conversation with your immediate supervisor.
